Gallagher Bros Construction has worked the Illinois side of the river for over fifty years. Waterloo, Columbia, Millstadt, Valmeyer, Red Bud and Dupo are not an expansion market for us — they are some of the communities where we do the most work, and where our crews and our reputation are best known. We are a family-owned company founded in 1973, and our founding roots are in Waterloo: Monroe County has been part of our service area since the beginning.

Roofing is where most Metro East homeowners find us, but it is not all we do. We install ice-and-water shield in the eaves and valleys of every roof we build, whether or not insurance pays for it. Siding is one of the largest parts of our Illinois work — hail that damages a roof usually damages the siding on the same elevation, and both belong in the same documentation. We install vinyl, insulated, board & batten and cedar-shake-style vinyl siding, along with James Hardie and LP SmartSide, plus replacement windows, seamless gutters and gutter guards.
Because we do all of it, you get one contractor, one schedule and one warranty for the whole exterior — instead of coordinating three trades yourself.

What do you do about my insurance claim?
We do the documentation. We photograph the damage, prepare a written scope, and meet your adjuster on site to show them what we found — so you are not left translating a scope sheet on your own. The claim itself is between you and your insurer; Missouri law is specific that a contractor does not negotiate it on your behalf. What we can do is make sure the evidence is complete and accurate, and we are thorough about it.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most residential roof replacements are completed in one day. Siding projects typically run three to five days depending on the size of the home and the material.
